Geneva to La Clusaz transfer
Aravis Shuttle runs a shared shuttle transfer between Geneva Airport and La Clusaz every day of the winter season. We are a local company based in the Aravis valley: our drivers know the mountain roads, and our minibuses are equipped for winter conditions. We also serve Le Grand-Bornand, Le Chinaillon, Saint-Jean-de-Sixt and Thônes.

Where we meet you
At Geneva Airport, your driver waits in the arrivals hall on the Swiss side, under the Visitors Center, holding an “ARAVIS SHUTTLE” sign. In La Clusaz, pick-up and drop-off are at the bus station (route des Riondes). This is a shared shuttle, not a door-to-door service: other stops are Le Grand-Bornand bus station, Le Chinaillon tourist office, Saint-Jean-de-Sixt (car park behind the post office) and Thônes bus station on selected departures.
Which shuttle should I book after my flight?
Allow 40 to 60 minutes between landing and walking out into the arrivals hall, and 1 hour to 1 hour 30 if you go through passport control. We recommend booking a shuttle leaving at least 2 hours 30 after your flight’s scheduled arrival, more if you are not a European national. For your return, choose a departure that leaves you enough time to follow your airline’s check-in instructions.
Luggage and ski equipment
Each passenger may bring 2 large items (a ski or snowboard bag counts as one) plus 1 piece of hand luggage, at no extra cost. Simply indicate the number of ski bags when you book.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if my flight is delayed or I miss my shuttle?
Our shuttles leave on time: other passengers are waiting at the next stops, and every departure is part of a tight daily schedule. For this reason, a missed shuttle cannot be refunded or moved to another time. Your original ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable, and you will need to book and pay for a new seat on a later shuttle, subject to availability. This is why we recommend leaving a comfortable margin after your flight’s scheduled arrival.
What if my preferred shuttle is full?
You can join the waiting list directly when booking. We use waiting list sign-ups to decide whether to add extra departures, but this is never guaranteed. To be sure to travel, we recommend booking a seat now on a shuttle that is still available: a later one if you are arriving at the airport, an earlier one if you are flying out.
None of your departure times suits my flight, what can I do?
Aravis Shuttle is a shared shuttle with drop-off at the meeting points. If none of our departure times suits your flight, or if you would like a door-to-door journey, you can book a private transfer or contact one of the local taxis: Allo Taxi 74 (La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand), Taxi Éric (Le Grand-Bornand), Taxi Lacroix (La Clusaz, Thônes), Capdeville Taxi (Thônes) or Taxi des Aravis (Le Grand-Bornand).
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, online at any time. A fee of €1 per seat applies more than 48 hours before departure, and €2 per seat between 48 and 24 hours. Bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before departure are not refunded.
Do you also go to Le Grand-Bornand?
Yes, our shuttles also serve Le Grand-Bornand, Le Chinaillon and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt. Simply choose your pick-up or drop-off point when you book.
